Fall Is Here

My Hall Of Fame anniversary is October 31st which puts me last in line from my group.  Over these past 4 years of quit, my October 2006 group mates have become some of my best friends on this earth.  People who don’t have “Internet Friends” don’t understand this concept and have a tendency to look at me weird when I tell them about these relationships but quite frankly I don’t care.  I’ve only had the pleasure of meeting one of them (Stacy and I got together at the first ever KillTheCan.org meet in St. Louis) but I’m waiting for the day when I’ll get to meet the other guys.  At this point, there’s really only 4 of us that post on a regular basis and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if I ever needed anything I could call on Mal, GiKea or GMS and they’d help me out any way that they could.

Because of all of the history between us and all of the crap that we’ve walked through to get here, the fall has a special place in my heart.  It was always my favorite season, but now it’s got so much more meaning to me.  It represents the beginning of my quit, commemorates my entry into the Hall Of Fame and reminds me every year that I’ve done it before and I can do it again.
